Return of Nichita products

Please keep in mind that Nichita products are made to order only from natural leather, they are not in stock, according to the specifications configured by you – color, type of leather, size, buckle, personalization of text or image, etc. – and you are on fully responsible for the ‘image’ of the final product. Atelier Nichita guarantees the quality of the purchased product.

Products made according to the specifications presented by the consumer and/or clearly customized cannot be returned.

According to GEO 130/2000 art. 10 lit. c) – “The consumer cannot unilaterally denounce the following types of contracts […] c) contracts for the supply of products executed according to the consumer’s specifications or of distinctly personalized products […].”

According to GEO 34/2014 art. 16 letter c) – “They are exempted from the right of withdrawal provided for in art. 9-15 with regard to distance contracts and contracts outside commercial premises the following: […] c) supply of products made according to the specifications presented by the consumer or clearly customized […].”

However, considering that we want you to be fully satisfied with our products, we assure you that we will do our best to resolve your return request.

The direct costs of returning the products are borne by the buyer. He will not pay the shipping if he receives a product with a manufacturing defect or a wrong product, and the return will be organized by Atelier Nichita.

Atention! We do not accept parcels returned with cash on delivery. We only receive parcels for product exchange or return whose transport payment was made by the sender (customer).

Manufacturing defects

We assure you that all Nichita products are checked before delivery in terms of quality and compliance. However, in case of reporting major manufacturing defects, please notify us immediately and implicitly return the products. In this situation, you can opt either for the replacement of the products, or for the restitution of the product’s value.

If you do not want to change the product, but it is a simple return, we will only refund the value of the returned product by bank transfer to the IBAN account specified by you in the Return Form. The reimbursement period for the return value of the returned product will be made within a maximum of 14 calendar days from when the returned product arrived at the address: Str Eroilor no 68, Movilita, Constanta.

Any notification regarding the existence of manufacturing defects after a period longer than 14 days from the receipt of the products is considered expired.

Manufacturing defects refer to the products received with defects: torn / cut / cracked / stained leather, torn product, broken buckle. Manufacturing defects do not refer to the particularities of natural leather: ribs, small color differences, characteristic marks and irregularities, this is precisely what shows the authenticity and quality of the leather from which the products are made / the leather is treated with vegetable tannin, and this can also migrate it can easily color the surface it comes in contact with; this happens during the first wears, until the product acquires a unique patina / the small irregularities and imperfections of the products or parts of products made by hand and therefore there is a risk of color migration / leathers that have been waxed and polished by hand, in this case the leather continues to it “wears” naturally, the color excoriations on the surface of the skins represent an intentional effect that occurs only after wearing and this is precisely what brings the individuality of the products.

Incorrect size

If this is your first order on our website, please measure yourself according to the instructions on the website in the “Available sizes” category that you can find displayed on the website for each belt or bracelet model, and contact us the measurements to send you the right size and to avoid the costs for the return. In this situation, the refund of the product value does not apply.

The products made to order are not serial products, they are made by hand and are executed at the express request of the customer, a fact that entails the impossibility of returning the product.

How long will it take to get the money back?

In the case of refunding the value of the product, this will be done within 14 days at most from the date on which we were informed of the return decision and the receipt of the returned product/products.

The refund of the product value is made by bank transfer to the specified account (required information: Account holder name, bank name, IBAN account)
