Nichita product warranty

1. Warranty duration

The product benefits from a legal guarantee of conformity of 24 months from the date of delivery, under normal use and compliance with maintenance instructions.

2. Scope of the warranty

These conditions apply to all belts and products made of natural leather sold through the site.

These products are goods intended for personal use, naturally subject to wear and tear during use, a characteristic specific to leather materials.

The legal warranty of conformity exclusively covers manufacturing defects existing at the time of delivery or occurring under normal conditions of use, such as:

• seams coming apart due to poor workmanship;
• premature breakage caused by manufacturing defects;
• non-conformities that make the product unsuitable for normal use.
• detachment or breakage of the buckle under normal conditions of use;
• structural defects in the skin that affect the use of the product;
• detachments or abnormal damage to components.

After finding, the product will be:

• repaired, or
• replaced,
• and if these measures are not possible, a price reduction or product replacement may be granted, according to the law.

3. What is NOT a defect and is not covered by the warranty

The following situations are considered normal wear and tear and do not constitute non-conformity:

• scratches, dents or marks that appear during wear;
• change in color or the appearance of the natural patina of the skin;
• elongation of the holes or deformation of the gripping area as a result of use;
• dulling of edges or finish;
• natural stretching of the skin under tension;
• marks resulting from friction with clothing or other objects;
• aesthetic changes after prolonged use;
• damage caused by improper storage, moisture, chemicals or improper maintenance.

Genuine leather is a living material that evolves over time. Changes in appearance are a normal characteristic, not a defect.

4. Product lifespan

The lifespan of a belt depends directly on:

• frequency of wearing;
• tension applied during use;
• the weight supported;
• environmental conditions;
• maintenance mode.

Products worn daily will inevitably show signs of use, even within the warranty period.

5. Warranty claim analysis procedure

For any request, a technical check of the product will be carried out.

The stages are:

The client submits the request along with relevant photos.

The product may be requested for physical evaluation.

It is determined whether the situation represents a manufacturing defect or normal wear and tear.

The decision is based on the objective characteristics of the product and its use.

6. Products not covered by warranty

If normal wear or improper use is found after inspection:

• the request will be rejected as unfounded;
• the product can be returned to the customer;
• Shipping and evaluation costs may be borne by the customer.

7. Usage and maintenance recommendations

To extend the lifespan, it is recommended:

• alternating straps (avoiding wearing the same strap every day);
• avoiding exposure to excessive moisture;
• cleaning only with products dedicated to natural skin;
• storage in a dry environment, away from extreme temperatures.

8. Accepting the natural characteristics of the skin

By purchasing the product, the customer confirms that he understands and accepts that:

• natural leather may show variations in texture or color;
• the product changes its appearance over time;
• these changes are part of the normal behavior of the material.

9. Preventing collateral abuse

The legal warranty is intended to protect against manufacturing defects, not to ensure the replacement of products worn out as a result of use.

Repeated requests for heavily used products may be considered abusive and may be denied under applicable law.

10. Final provisions

We reserve the right to refuse requests that do not meet the legal guarantee conditions and to apply internal verification procedures to protect the fairness of the commercial relationship.
